Tip 2: Hide Your Roots by Changing Your Part
Change up your parting. It’s always worth trying to change your parting. It may sound silly but you may find less ‘natural highlights’ in different places of your hair. A diagonal parting also makes for a great way of making your roots less noticeable.
Tip 3: Practice protective styling, bonnets/silk scarves
Just because you are sticking to a regular routine doesn’t mean you need to have a pretty hairstyle. After all, you’re not exactly going anywhere during lock down. Stock up like two silk scarfs or bonnet one for day use and other for night use. this tip will help you keep your hands off your hair when bored.
Tip 4: Experiment with new hairstyles
If you were getting bored of the hairstyles you had been rocking or need some inspiration and obviously tip 2 isnt workig for you, Well you can as well try to experiment with some new hair styles like different types of conrows, braids, stylying e.t.c. and of courese you can make youtube your best friend….
Tip 5: Wash Your Hair Less
During this time when your hair is not getting that professional touch, Every time you wash your hair, it strips a little bit of the color away. “in this way, maintaining your color will require you to minimize your washes, ideally shampooing less and always using a color-safe shampoo.
Tip 6: Avoid Sun Exposure
The sun is a major enemy when it comes to colored hair because the harmful UV rays can fade hair dye over time. “Keep sun exposure to a minimum, Always wear a scarf or hat to cover your hair when you go outdoors.”
