The employees of Eight Tech Consults Ltd and Precious Beauty and Vocational College under-went an insightful capacity building training to enhance their capabilities in Proposal Writing, Reporting, System Analysis and Design that took place at Precious Beauty and Vocational College. The motive of this training was meant to equip the employees with more knowledge on how to improve their quality of work output and services delivered.
The training was facilitated by Dr. Drake Patrick Mirembe a Senior Consultant at Eight Tech Consults Ltd and Director at Precious Beauty and Vocational College. The employees in attendance were the Technical Manager Mr. Bob Tumusiime, the E-learning Specialist Mr. Joseph Lwevuze, software developers; Mr. Stephen Byarugaba, Mr. Abert Amanya, Business Development Executive Ms. Adengero Winnie from Eight Tech Consults Limited and Ms. Evelyne Nabiryo; Administrator at Precious Beauty and Vocational College.
The employees were engaged in a number of capacity building activities with the aim improving productivity of work and quality of output. It also focused on;
- Increasing employee performance.
- Increasing employee motivation and adoption.
- Demising ways and techniques of adopting new technologies and methods.
Dr. Drake Patrick Mirembe in his presentation emphasized that “For one to write a good proposal, he/she should look at what the recipient wants and not their own needs”. He concluded the training by encouraging the employees to always put the wishes and dreams of the users first, create and grow their networks in the business world because it will contribute greatly to the success of both companies.
